Aoshima beaches, Takachiho Gorge and the Cape Toi coast
Follow Miyazaki’s coastline around Aoshima for beaches and sea views, or head inland to Takachiho Gorge and its landscapes linked to Japanese mythology. Cape Toi, farther south, offers another coastal experience with grazing horses. These destinations are widely separated, so choose a focused route and check transport, weather and visitor access in advance.
